“Several years ago, shortly after Hunter-Douglas released their new motorized blinds for skylights, we had Lennie from the Blind Spot install them on five skylights. The previous blinds had been a continuing problem because they could only be reached with a fifteen foot pole. Installation was difficult because of access to the skylights but Lennie and company were up to the challenge. Then every couple of years there were various maintenance issues with the blinds because of flaws in the Hunter-Douglas design. Each time Lennie and company attacked the challenge and solved each problem.

“Finally, this year Hunter-Douglas totally revised the blinds’ design and made the revisions available to old customers at no cost to the customer. Again Lennie and company tackled the challenge. It took a full half a day to remove the blinds (again because of access issues) and another half day to reinstall the refurbished blinds. Continuing customer service is sadly lacking in many companies today, but in contrast, Lennie and the Blind Spot has provided continued and excellent customer service to us for nearly a decade. Without his efforts, we would have had to trash our investment in these blinds. However the new design appears to be exactly the improvements we needed. Thanks, Lennie.”
